Established in 2019, Fawn Meadow is a small-scale market garden situated on 9 acres along the Southern Maine coastline. Located in Scarborough, approximately 15 minutes from Portland & 90 minutes from Boston, we sustainably grow hundreds of varieties of specialty flowers & textural elements for daily arrangements, weekly design clients, and weddings/special events. Our growing approach is intentional yet lax, focused on maintaining healthy soil & a creating a diverse ecosystem. Plants want to grow; we do our best to help them along.

A place to buy beautiful flowers & artisanal goods, conduct workshops, and consult on weddings & events, right in downtown Kennebunk.

Flowers will almost exclusively come from our Scarborough farm or other local growers in season and will be sourced as sustainably as possible during the cold winter months.

Open Wednesday-Thursday 12-4, Friday 12-530, Saturday 11-3

Founder // Mother of Chickens

The face behind the flowers, Valerie hails from Connecticut & moved to Maine for love. A former P&L manager, she ditched cube life for farm life and learned everything she could about flowers & floral design. She favors whimsical designs in monochromatic & analogous color palettes and has never met a spreadsheet she didn't like. Hobbies include baking, smooching dogs, and 90's R&B.

A native Mainer and our anchor, Fawn Meadow couldn't exist without Tom. He handles the heavy lifting, photography, and all things fruits & vegetables.

Our little flower baby loves pasta & Shrek and keeps us all on our toes.

Apex Predator

This tiny hunter loves patrolling her kingdom, cross-country car rides, and drinking out of water glasses.

Chicken Chaser

Brew dog turned farm dog & our most loving, loyal companion. When he's not snoozing in the sunshine, he's probably sneaking snacks in the compost pile or running circles in the front field.

The Flock

Our ever-growing gang of birds love taste testing the veggies & taking siestas in the dahlias.

Everything at Fawn Meadow is farmed organically following natural, regenerative practices that enhance the land that sustains us and ensure soil health & longevity. For our design work, seasonality & local sourcing are always a priority and we never use floral foam.
